Duncan McEachern is engaged primarily in the practice of municipal, zoning, probate, real estate law and personal injury litigation. In 1968, Duncan was admitted to the Maine Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. In 1969, he was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar and U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Duncan is a director with the firm Shaines & McEachern, P.A. and a member of the Maine Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Born on April 28, 1941 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Duncan received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary's University in Halifax, N.S. Canada. He received a Masters in Economics from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire in 1965, and his law degree from University of Maine in 1968.

Duncan belongs to several local organizations and was a founding director of the Kittery Historic and Naval Museum. He has served for many years as the attorney for the Town of Kittery.
