Laurie's areas of practice include administrative law, corporate law, business law, labor and employment law, litigation, and probate and tax law.

Laurie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association and the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association.

Laurie is a member of the Ethics Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association. Laurie is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Leonard Weeks and Descendants of America, Inc., also known as Weeks Brick House.

In 2004, Laurie was admitted to the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bars and has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire.

Born in Winchester, Massachusetts on July 9, 1969, Laurie graduated from Notre Dame College with a BA in 1996 and earned her JD from the Massachusetts School of Law in 2003.
